We’re Wearing Organic Cotton Where It Counts
When it comes to breathable, pesticide free fabrics, organic cotton is the best option for underwear. Lets face it, you don’t want scratchy polyesters sitting beside your lady bits all day. These organic cotton briefs are classic and comfy so they are a great investment if you are looking to be a little kinder to your sensitive areas.
We’re Cleaning Up
If your clean living ethos stretches to your household cleaners too, you’ll love Spruce. After experiencing health issues, founder Mahira realised the importance of non toxic cleaning products. The formulas are all non toxic and biodegradable. Once you have finished the bottle, refills are delivered in plastic free packaging. Simply add the contents of the sachet to water and you have your cleaning solution. Plus the bottles are made of lightweight aluminium which is widely recyclable. We’re learning from the Pros
Great skin, starts with a great routine. As she celebrates her 50th (yes 50th!) Birthday, Claudia Schiffer has teamed up with Bamford to share her own skincare routine. With founder Carole Bamford, she has compiled a set featuring her favourite natural and organic products. Everything is housed in a specially designed canvas and organic cotton wash bag. At £350 it’s certainly an investment in age perfect skin. However 10% of proceeds also go to UK based mental health charity Heads Together.

We’re Caring For Our Eyes
Along with lipstick, eye make up is one of the cosmetics most likely to end up in your body due to it’s close proximity to mucus membranes (eyes and mouth). So using a mascara made using organic ingredients is a kind thing to do for your face. These ones not only use organic formulas but they also do a great job of defining and enhancing your lashes.
We’re Supporting Small Sustainable Businesses
‘COVID 19 has hit us independents hard, I wanted to ensure that we are some of the first to pick ourselves up.’ Marilyne Kékéli, founder of MAMATER jewellery has teamed up with our friends at Seekd to introduce an outdoor makers fair in London’s trendy Islington. The Good Makers Fair will be appearing over 3 weekends beginning 29th-31st August and will bring together a variety of like minded designers. Creating a safe, and inspiring shopping experience, it will also support small and independent businesses after a difficult lockdown.
We’re Looking To A Sustainable Future
British bag brand Mulberry has long supported English manufacturing but they are going one step further with their Mulberry Green Initiative. Having already launched they’re sustainable Portabello bag, they have set in place new eco goals to reach by 2025. These include using only sustainably sourced cotton and achieving carbon neutrality. They are also working on their leather sourcing, with a goal to source all of their leather from environmentally approved tanneries by AW22.
We’re Feeling Headstrong
Sometimes when we want to look fabulously put together but feel too lazy to actually style an outfit, an eye catching hair accessory is a must. Whether you favour a headband (great for those greasy roots days) or need a little accent, hair accessories pull any look together.
