When beige made it’s second consecutive appearance on the catwalks this season, we knew the trend wasn’t going anywhere fast. What can initially seem a pretty boring neutral colour, is actually the easiest and chicest to wear. This is our guide to how to wear beige.

If you are new to beige as a neutral tone then fear not, it’s much kinder than it looks. To take the stress out of it, we like to mix one piece into a casual weekend outfit. Let’s face it, tonal dressing in beige is for the pros! We suggest selecting a casual piece, that’s loosely fitted in either cotton or silk. Tuck a loose fit tee into your favourite jeans. Or throw on a simple, elegant beige coat. As for shades, paler skin tones should opt for darker beiges. But dark skin girls can wear whichever shade they like.
