Christmas Cocktails
Treat yourself and your guests this Holiday season. These Christmas Cocktails are made using sustainable alcohols.
A special festive cocktail always dazzles guests. And of course we highly recommend that you choose an ethical or organic alcohol for your cocktails. Not only are you doing the planet a favour, but trust us, you’re doing your head a favour too. The secret to a classy cocktail is to embrace the season. Orange peel and cinnamon sticks are great extras to stock up on to add a final flourish. If you’re not sure where to turn, then we have pulled together our favourite brands and their very best cocktails just for you. Just don’t forget to enjoy in moderation.
Spiced Negroni
Ingredients:
25ml Fatty’s Organic Winter Spiced Orange Gin // 25ml Sweet Vermouth // 25ml Campari // Orange Peel
Preparation:
Pour everything into a glass filled with ice and stir to combine. Garnish with an orange peel twist.
Spiced Orange & Ginger Spritz
Ingredients:
50ml MARY // 15ml Cointreau / Triple Sec // 125ml Fevertree Spiced Orange Ginger Ale
Preparation:
Choose an elegant glass. Stir everything together over ice and garnish with a flamed orange wheel studded with cloves.
Prince Edward
Ingredients:
50ml Organic Single Malt Whisky // 20ml Cocchi Americano // 10ml Drambuie // 2 Dashes of Orange Bitter Or Orange Twist to Garnish
Preparation:
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass then fill with cubed ice. Stir for 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass then garnish with an orange twist.
T & T
Ingredients:
40ml El Rayo Plata or Reposado // Indian Tonic // Wedge of Grapefruit // Optional Sprig of Rosemary or clementine peel to garnish
Preparation:
Add the tequila and grapefruit wedge to a glass, and top up with a bottle of tonic. Add your choice of garnish, we recommend a sprig of rosemary.
Spice Apple Martini
Ingredients:
50ml Cooper King Dry Gin // 50ml Apple // 12.5ml Vanilla Syrup // 4 Drops of Ms Better’s Chocolate Bitters (optional) // ½ Cinnamon Stick // 1 Whole Star Anise
Preparation:
Pour gin, apple juice, vanilla syrup, bitters and 1/2 a cinnamon stick into a cocktail shaker. Add plenty of ice and shake vigorously until chilled. Double strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with the star anise. To enjoy it hot, simply warm it through on a hob.
