Jewellery News
As part of our celebration of jewellery, this week we round up all of the new launches and collaborations in the world of jewellery.
Pomellato introduces the Nuvola Collection
Nuvola, the Italian word for ‘cloud’ perfectly sums up Pomellato’s new collection. The Milanese jeweller’s signature bold style has been used to create a wonderful twist on the humble diamond ring. Soft, organic shapes inspire the beautifully crafted pieces created from Columbian fairmined rose gold. Ethically sourced diamonds form clusters on each piece, accentuating the gentle curves of metal. Whether worn on their own as an engagement ring, or stacked up to create an eye catching look, we love Pomellato’s bold, Italian lead design ethos.
Ara Vartanian presents The Future is Brilliant
Fine jeweller Ara Vartanian has found a wonderfully stylish way to pay tribute to his adopted country of Brazil. Originally from Beirut, he spent his formative years in Sao Paolo, Brazil. The new project ‘The Future Is Brilliant’ sees him partner with the Wai Wai Tribe of the Atlantic Forest to create these unique bracelets. Each piece is crafted by the Wai Wai tribe using Morototo seeds set with Amethysts and Smoky Quartz. 50% of the RRP is returned to the tribe in a bid to preserve craftsmanship and tradition.
By Pariah team up with Artisan Fashion
We’ve long been fans of London based By Pariah’s modern, conceptual shapes. They are the first brand to collaborate with Artisan Fashion Kenya, highlighting the native craftsmanship of communities across the world. Created from recycled brass, the bold shapes are synonymous with By Pariah’s contemporary approach to jewellery. Each piece, created by hand by Kenyan artisans, is an elegant celebration of Kenyan craftsmanship.
Alice Catherine x Mikaela Lyons Collaborate
Style influencer Alice Catherine has teamed up with Mikaela Lyons to create an elegantly, thoughtful collection of jewellery named ‘The Prettiest Star’. Handmade by Mikaela, each piece is crafted from ethical gold plated silver. We particularly love the lived in, antique quality of Mikaela’s pieces. Coupled with Alice Catherine’s enviable style, we have fallen head over heels. There are still a few pieces left so hurry.
